Dr. Ann Rea Miller
Dr. Ann Rea Miller graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2008. She is a 2000 graduate of Kalida High School. Dr. Miller did her undergraduate work in pre-optometry and psychology at The Ohio State University.
While in Optometry school, Dr. Miller was the vice-president of her class, Secretary of Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and a member of Lions Club. She was the treasurer of Students Who Volunteer in Optometric Services in Humanity (SVOSH). This organization volunteers their time sorting through glasses donated by Lions Clubs and distributes them to those in underserved countries.
Dr. Miller traveled on mission trips to Nicaragua in 2006 and 2007. While in Nicaragua, the group provided free eye exams and glasses to more than 1,000 individuals per week. She was the 2008 recipient of the Alcon Case Study Award for her report on Corneal Infiltrates versus Corneal Ulcers.
Dr. Miller joined the practice of Optometry with Dr. Stephen CaJacob in Lima in 2008 as an associate.
Dr. Miller is active in the Ohio Optometric Association and served as Zone 10 Governor from 2010 to 2011. She was the membership coordinator from 2009-2010 and 2017-2018 and Transitions Brand Change Agent 2015 – 2018. Dr. Miller is involved in the community with the Lima Chamber of Commerce and Lima Host Lions Club. She serves on the advisory board at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center and is the vice chair for the Quality and Patient Safety committee. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Huntington Bank. Dr. Miller is a member of Kalida Saint Michael’s Catholic Church where she is a Eucharistic minister.
In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys exercising. She has completed three half-marathons and several 5Ks. She also enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Miller and her husband, Keith, reside in Kalida with their son, Briggs, and daughters, Viala and Lerner.
Kerry
Kerry does a variety of jobs in the office. From insurance billing, optical help, contact lens training, front desk help, and anything else behind the scenes. There isn’t much Kerry doesn’t know how to do, so she is a great person to help with all of your needs!
Paula
Paula will be the gal you see for your preliminary testing. You will also see Paula helping out at the front desk. If you have any questions, Paula will be happy to help!
Tara
Tara is one of our optical girls. She loves helping pick out unique frames for every patient. You will also see Tara helping with preliminary testing, contact lens training, and just about anything else you need!
Emily
Emily is one of our optical girls. She loves picking out any frames to match your style. She can also help with ordering contacts, scheduling, and referrals. Any questions and Emily would love to help you out!
Jenifer (J for short)
J is one of our front desk ladies. She will be one of the first people you talk to when you walk in the door or call the office. She can help you with scheduling, referrals, ordering contacts, or just about any other question you may have!
Kristen
Kristen is one of our front desk ladies. She will be one of the first people you talk to when you stop in or call on the phone. She can help with scheduling, billing, and ordering contacts. If you have any questions, Kristen would love to find you an answer!
